One local team across Baldwin County
Coastal condos, river villages and inland neighbourhoods, all measured and installed by the same team from our Orange Beach showroom.
Baldwin County is not one climate. It is several.
A west-facing condo on the island, a river cottage near Bon Secour and a shaded inland lot all have the same problem in different proportions: too much light at the wrong hour. The treatment that solves one of those rooms will not solve the others.
Because our showroom sits on Canal Road, we can measure a river property in the morning and be on the beach side the same afternoon. Everything is ordered to the exact opening and installed by the same local crew that measured it.
Which part of the county are you in?
| Setting | Typical exposure | What we normally specify |
|---|---|---|
| Island condos | Hard west and south sun through tall glass | Solar or woven rollers, motorized on unreachable windows, approved exterior shades |
| River and bay homes | Low late-day sun across deep porches | Exterior solar shades, room-darkening rollers, lined draperies |
| Inland neighbourhoods | Open western exposure on newer windows | Cellular shades, plantation shutters, layered drapery |
| Rentals and commercial | Operated daily by guests or staff | Durable shutters, simple rollers, retractable exterior screens |
Specifications are starting points, not rules — the room always decides.
What is the room actually doing?
Solar and woven shades
Cut the intensity of afternoon sun while the view stays open.
Cellular and room-darkening
Reduce radiant heat at the glass so the room holds its temperature.
Plantation shutters
Adjustable louvers take light in without opening the room to view.
Custom draperies
Fabric, lining and stackback planned as one finished treatment.
Exterior solar shades
Stop the sun before it reaches a porch, deck or balcony.
Motorized shades
Schedules and one-touch control for tall or hard-to-reach glass.
A word about exterior shades
Exterior shades are sun and glare control, not hurricane shutters and not impact protection. They should be retracted before severe weather and operated within the manufacturer’s wind guidance.

Questions we hear from around the county
Do you travel across the whole county?
Yes. Our showroom is in Orange Beach and we serve Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley, Elberta, Bon Secour, Fort Morgan and Perdido Key, plus the surrounding Baldwin County communities and Pensacola across the state line.
Can you quote from photographs and measurements I take myself?
We can give you a contactless quote that way. For a finished fit we still recommend a field measurement, because trim, settling and mounting depth decide how a treatment actually sits.
Is installation different in a house than in a condo?
Substantially. Condos usually bring association approval, concrete ceilings and storm-rated glazing. Houses bring older framing and deeper casings. We plan the mounting method around the building rather than the product.
How long should I expect to wait?
Most custom products arrive in roughly four to six weeks. We confirm current production timing at your consultation so you are never guessing.
What does a consultation cost?
Nothing. We will come to you, meet you at the showroom, or work remotely if that suits you better.
Start with the room that bothers you most
A free consultation is enough to know what the room needs. We can measure on the same visit and quote from there.
